SECOND YEAR ESO BOOK TRAILERS

We introduce a sample of some book trailers, done by second year eso students. They read Les cartes d’Hercules Poirot, by Jaume Fuster, during the two first months of the first term. Then all of them knew how to do a Book Trailer.
In a book trailer you have to choose a specific thing to say: only what is necessary, without a lot of argumentation, just to make someone read the book. You have to use photographs, music, sound licenses. Everyone was very creative!
They had five class sessions to do it, and some of them had to do it at home. In the first session the teacher introduced how to do a book trailer and what it is, and some of them could do a little composition, in the others, they organized the project and did it, they searched pictures, songs…

They could do it with different programmes like WMM (Windows Movie Maker) or PW (Powerpoint). It took several explanations but teenager intuition made it easier. (Thursday, 7th April 2016)
